What Matters Most
Over the past six months I have spent many hours at the hosptial with my son as he continues to battle his illness. At times, during my visits, we reminisce on the past, he shares his hopes and dreams for the future, and we enjoy each precious moment together. It's funny the things that we celebrate now... like graduating from a clear liquid diet to being able to eat graham crackers, gaining a pound instead of losing, being in his own clothes instead of a hospital gown, a few hours without debilitating pain, being able to play his guitars again, seeing an amazing sunset from his hospital room, a visit from his wife and children, the times he can be home in his own bed, being able to go for a walk outside, feeling a cool breeze, and having so many good people praying for him! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
